Does your airline have an attendance policy? If so, please share the specifics. It would be nice to compare them to see what is out there.

yeah we are allowed to have four occurences a rolling year before any actions are taken. be it missed trip, sick call utc whatever

How about an attendance bonus? As in a brand new Ford Explorer given away once a year. At XJT, any employee with perfect attendance for 6 months is eligible to be in the drawing. Flame away.

CAL gets the Explorer. I think Larry gives away 6. XJT gets a Mustang. However, if you have perfect attendance for 6 months, you do get 2 one-way First or BusinessFirst passes.

Mesa used to do this. Maybe they still do. Just think, all the servants that did not use thier sick time gave that money to pay for the Explorer. If enough servants do this than the boss takes the savings as a bonus and adds another wing onto his mansion.

ASA has an occurance system. It is fairly effective in making pilots and flight attendants fly sick. I know one the other day that did not call in sick because of this system.

Way to go ASA, smart!
