Astar Air Cargo hiring?

Does anyone have the inside scoop on a possible Astar expansion and subsequent hiring?

Possibly some "trickle" hiring this summer is what I heard today.

heard the opposite in a shared limo with an airborne guy..he said the companies are playing the pilots against each other..but he heard they are still parking jets at astar...possible furlough and airborne is not even proposing a raise for their pilots...

Astar's not parking any jets so far, or furloughing. Your ABX contact is correct that they are _trying_ to play both sides against the other.

Sounds like a replay of the Polar - Atlas shell game still in the running BTW. Don't let that situation happen to your groups. Learn from the others mistakes.
