The contract was signed today, ending many years of negotiation. It was ratified by unanimous vote. Vastly improved scope and work rules plus significant wage increases. Now just four years until the next one.....

What work rule improvements have been gained?

Sure, but it is difficult give an across the board view because you had to know what we had in order to best understand where we are now...Be happy to answer any specific questions.

Under the old contract, management could have shifts as ( current ) 4 on 3 off or 5 on 2 off ( days in any order )....at their whim....Not now, most they can do is 20% of shifts 5 on 2 off...and all shifts must be 4 on consecutive 3 off consecutive or (at most ) 20% of total shift 5 on consecutive 2 off consecutive

Awesome news guys!!! Glad to hear of the conclusion of your negotiations. I trust it is a contract you can be proud of for the next 4 years. Best wishes to you all back at my former home.
