There are no flights between ATL and FLO on Dec 31, or Jan 1. That is the reason for this. Delta has cancelled alot of flying that isn't profitable ie full.

Okay, with that info, then I'd rent a car, drive to CAE and catch a flight home. At least you're making per diem to cover some of the costs of rental!

I have a better idea. Grab your new FO, a case of beer, some hookers, then raise hell.

You talk about the industry going south. I'm sure TWA, Pan Am, etc... Had no problem knocking down 58 hours...
