Just wondering if anybody has info on the ANA 747 Cargo Job? Sched, QOL, Pay, the usual questions? Are command positions available? And if so, how long? Thanks.

Do you mean NCA? If so, hiring through PARC. B747-400 command rating required and FO`s only for now. Contact PARC in Dublin if you meet the requrements. Good luck!

Sorry I meant NCA. I know you can go through PARC or HCAS, just looking for someone who works there with some insight.

You can also check out JPexpress the ANA cargo(767) carrier. HACS and Parc both have listings.

PPrune has info on both

Good luck finding information about that job. It can be pretty scarce. Go to pprune, there is a bit of a thread going on right now about it. You can also look here, http://japanpilots.19.forumer.com

It seems that things have changed though since NYK Shipping lines bought them out a while back.

It was at one time one of the most coveted contract gigs out there. At the end, FO pay was around 9k a month with CA pay around 14-15k a month. Also, about a 4-5 year upgrade, as well as a small (very small) commuting allowance thrown in. PARC paid more, but HACS offers a retirement contribution. The -200s are going away and more 400's are coming, some think they are going to be short on pilots. PARC requires the 400 type, HACS doesn't.

Bear in mind, it's the Japanese, so you are subject to the strict JCAB (astronaut) medical exam as well as the tedious 6-9 month conversion of your certs in japan. Your BMI must be under a certain number, your vision can be no less than a particular standard, having lasik is a showstopper.
