Just wondern' how you liked the airplane (from a pilot's standpoint), and whether you think it'll make a 'comeback' here as 50 seat RJs get parked over the next few years.

They seem kinda popular overseas. :pimp:

Nah, the hundred seat ATR will probably do better. I've heard plenty of stories about the cargo hold though and wild parties that took place in it.
 
I flew the ATR-72 at another carrier. Big, easy, comfortable airplane to fly. Like a twin turbo-prop Cessna. Very short t/o & landing lengths. Piece of cake to fly and the cockpit is much more spacious than the CRJ. And, yes, the rumors about the parties in the forward cargo bin are true. ;)
