What many AAI pilots can't acknowledge/value is that SWA was a stronger/more established carrier and that a DOH + (as GBJ mentioned) was grossly unfair to the SWA group, many of who left carriers like AAI for the superior stability of SWA.
 
Stop thinking of the pilot group as original SWA and former AirTran.


As great as that would be, there are guys that still point out who the Morris Air guys are (20+ years later?) so I don't hold out much hope of "former AirTran" going away any time soon.
