AA returning 19 757's to lessor

The 19 757's are from TWA that are powered by GE Engines. Since the rest of the AA 757 fleet is Rolls Royce it makes sense that they return these leased aircraft that are too expensive to operate.

I agree it sucks but when you are trying to save money its best to get away from different fleet types.

Digging a little deeper, the significance of engine manufacturers is that DAL has a fleet of 757 with P&W engines and they would would like to expand that fleet to back fill the domestic 767s they are converting for international use.
