Was looking at a A300 on the line today and noticed something.....Do they only have inboard alieron? When I looked at it shut down both inboards were hanging down. Why?

Thanks

I don't know anything about A-300's. But a spoileron is a complete different thing than a flaperon. Now the A-300 may have flaperons but......

The A300 has inboard spoilers that droop up to 10 degrees when takeoff flaps are set. Inflight spoilers assist in roll contol during flight.

UPS Capt your avatar got me wondering - do you guys get to wear brown too??

Oh yes, UPS pilots wear a fine shade of brown that rivals as one of the ugliest uniforms on earth. That's an outsider's perspective though.....if I worked there I would wear that uniform to bed each night sleeping with my paystub under the pillow!;)
