Once again, the XJT MEC is engaging is disinformation by simply lying in order to get votes for their disgraceful TA. In the latest Nexus-Fastread email from the JNBC, they state that a pilot does not need company approval for alternate deadhead. They also fail to mention that the pilot will not be paid for alternate deadhead at the end of a trip. I guess if they can't sell the TA on the basis of fact, they must resort to lying. These idiots don't even know and understand the TA they agreed to. They are just saying anything to get it passed. It's getting old. One week left in voting, rally-up! Don't be a fking shill!

Section 8C 2a clearly states that a pilot must coordinate with scheduling.

Here's the Q&A Excerpt:

Q: Does the company have to provide a reason for not letting a pilot use alternate deadhead home at the end of a pairing?
A: Lineholders do not need approval from the company for an alternate deadhead?it is their option. A reserve will need approval, but no reason must be given for a denial.
