The XJT MEC has realized that they will have to give up there current line bidding system. The XJT MEC has now agreed to go with a PBS system that does not honor seniority. It is a "globalization" system that is 40% seniority and 60% not based on seniority....The XJT MEC is trying to ram this down the throats of the ASA pilots and it is a worse system than we currently use. That makes no sense. Why would they want a worse system, and how can XJT ram anything down ASA. Where is the real information?

Really? Our PBS is the one great thing we have. Why would the xjt mec not want it? Our system is top shelf. If that's the case then there needs to be a mass education drive. Ridiculous.

Bottom line is this...in the end...it doesn't matter what either MEC pushes. The pilot group votes on this stuff. If it is crappier than what we have now (XJT line bidding) it will get a big ole NO vote.
