This week the management-supported decertification group released a video featuring a professional union buster named Rebecca Smith. In the past, Smith identified herself as a former Teamster who owns Taltos Consulting, Inc. and works as a lead consultant for the Labor Relations Institute (LRI). According to publicly available records Smith filed with the United States Department of Labor, she doesn’t bust unions for “free” as the decerters would have you believe.

For example, from October 3, 2013 to November 11, 2013, LRI paid her over $55,000.00. LRI is a for-profit union busting consulting firm. In 2017, Smith was paid $3000.00 per day by an employer in a failed attempt to bust another union. Russ Brown, one of the individuals providing “free” assistance to the decert group, is a former Vice President of LRI. Now he runs RWP Labor, LLC, another for-profit union busting consulting firm. Brown is listed on the papers Woelke filed with the NMB. And now Smith is listed as an Executive Vice President on Brown’s for-profit consulting website.

The “free” consultants Woelke got mixed up with sure are making a lot of money trying to bust unions. But we still don’t know who is paying their bills. The only thing we know for certain is that if the union-busters succeed, it will be at the expense of our paychecks, not theirs, as even management admitted in a recent message about the “competitive advantages” of stripping us of our union protections.

Don’t vote for “no representation,” Woelke or a “write-in.” Vote for your IBT Local 1108 in the election.

In this interview Russ Brown lays out the playbook he and his union busting friends are using at Flexjet. Watch this interview and remember, this is who Frank Phil and the decert gang have gotten into bed with.

You don't have to listen to the whole thing if u don't want to. It is disgusting.
Start at 6:12 into the video and see if it doesn't sound like the decert play book.
But hey its just free legal advice. BULLS***
