It doesn't seem to rally matter what the pilots think or want. The IBT wants it to pass and there has been a lot of chicanery going on with the vote. R.D. apparently knows what's best for us.

It will not pass. The bar has been set.

What's the mood at Republic now that the NMB has determined that Frontier is a separate carrier and the IMSL is now moot?

Absolute ecstasy! There's a handful of lifers crying in their Wheaties, but they are an insignificant minority. The only news that makes a difference for us is the IBT officially announcing their position that we need to accept the current TA or face the dire consequences. Lovely. May anyone associated with the IBT choke on their own vomit.

So what's the dire consequences? Republic can't fill their classes as is and AAR told Eagle they are going to farm all their flying out to other carries, aka Republic, since they shot down the proposal.

The IBT has done nothing for the Republic pilots in almost 10 years. They spent the vast majority of their time and money, your money, chasing after Frontier and the IMSL. Money and time spent getting you absolutely nothing. Republic pilots had the chance several years ago to dump the IBT and 1000+ voted to keep them. The only ones to blame for your current predicament is yourselves.

This is not entirely true. About 20% of the current seniority list were hired in the past 2 yrs. I wouldn't cast such generalities if I were you.
