RIP. Wonder what a PC-12 was doing there.
 
I know the PT6 is an outstanding powerplant...but single engine over the bush? No thanks. My thoughts and prayers to the crew. RIP guys.

I do SERIOULSLY question that airframe in that enviornment.

Just so you know, Djibouti is nowhere near Kenya.

I think the initial story was wrong about the location and has been updated. The story was reported from Kenya, but the accident was indeed near Djibouti.

Well aware of where they both are. The story was reported from Kenya... Info about the crash location is right there in the first couple sentences of the article.

C-12....military version of a King Air. This was not a single engine airplane.
