AWACoff/EAP

Obviously I didn't make my point too well. I have flown a couple of planes without electrical systems. But the truth is, I agree with you on the transponders. The way it's set up seems pretty reasonable. I just wanted folks to realize that added equipment requirements can have far reaching effects on the little GA people.

As for the guys flying around with bad/no xponder or violating airspace, IMO, they need to be hammered hard if they're jeopardizing safety. No excuse for that.

AWACoff -

Man, I'm not that old! ...but I did learn to fly before GPS!

EAP -

you're ever in the Southeast Texas area, contact me and we can go convert some fuel to noise in my -8 (noise is not a problem around here - yet).

>Let's keep the Euro-nazi/trash stuff at bay.

I'm with you on that one. If europe is so good, then why are all their people fighting to get over here and fly?!

Hey Aggie, that's one heck of an offer, I'll have to check your 8 out if/when I ever get down to those parts! I keep trying to get to Oshkosh or the annual homecomming in Oregon at the RV ranch, but it's always something.....

Aggiepilot,

Where are you based? I would go up with you and you can fly my 182RG:

Tim in Lansing (IGQ)

TDTURBO -

near Houston. Nice plane you've got there.
