They always have in the past. As far as I know they still do. In the past in was a 2 year contract and you didn't have to sign a new one when you upgrade.

From what I heard in the interview. It's 2 years, it's basically NOT prorated, and I don't think anyone has ever gotten out of it. I think it's for $20K. So, unless you have a large chunk of change, don't go there unless you're willing to commit 2 years to them! They said they didn't have one, and they had some pilots who were told by a third party, if they completed the USAJet DC-9 training program, the third party would hire them, and some pilots were doing that! I wish they hadn't made it harder on those of us there, or those contemplating going.
