Thank you for your message regarding your interest in possibly participating in the Javelin Flight Funds Program. Our programs are open to foreign students and most flight training (for reasons of cost and quality) is accomplished within the US or Canada.

While we sincerely hope that you will be able to successfully apply to our program, it is important to point out that Javelin's programs are not for everyone. Our program involves us investing into you and your future -- and as such, typically, in a one year program the student provides approximately 75 percent of the funding and Javelin matches that with the remaining 25 percent. In some cases, for a two year program, Javelin can provide up to a 50-50 match. In other words, if you need $50,000 for your training, you will need to be able to demonstrate that you have at least $25,000 of funding from your sources for the two year program.

In addition, you must be of sound health in body and mind and able to get a commercial medical certificate. In all other respects, you need to be able to comply with the regulations and expectations of what it takes to be a commercial pilot, including meeting TSA requirements and with a clean legal and drug/alcohol record.

Javelin's programs primarily see our trainees undergoing flight training at a flight school over a one year training period (75% student funded with a 25% Javelin match) -- some programs are available with two year or 18 month training periods. Once you have completed your training successfully, you will be eligible for our Javelin Contract Pilot Program, which provides our qualified candidates with jobs once they have their ratings.
To move ahead with our discussions, could you please send me additional contact information, such as a phone number and Skype address (if possible)?
