New to the Scene,

I have about 150 hours total time and about 50 solo and I am looking at taking the next step and buying a little float plane. This week I am going to look at a Taylorcraft BC-12D and a Super Canuck.

I am looking for some info on building time with a owner maintained aircraft. I understand I cannot be instructed or get ratings on an owner maintained aircraft however I am wondering about building total solo time and solo float time towards future employment.

If anyone has info it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Stu
