Passengers on a Delta Airlines flight from Beijing to Detroit last week were horrified when a Chinese child squatted on his seat and proceeded to defecate, World News, a U.S.-based, Chinese-language news site, reports. The child?s parents spread newspaper on the seat to catch the waste.

Passengers reportedly asked the parents to bring the child to the restroom, but the child?s grandfather insisted that his grandson finish his business at his seat.

Passenger Luolan Gang Wang told Chinese Sina News that an odor filled the plane and passengers were complaining and outraged. A flight attendant spoke with the family but according to China Smack, ?the elders were unmoved, leaving the flight attendant no choice but to drop the subject.?

Radio Free Asia reported the story in a segment and interviewed a Taiwanese flight attendant who said there?s no law prohibiting a child from pooping on his seat. She?s witnessed passengers doing unbelievable things such as washing their hair with shampoo in the lavatory sink.

Chinese social media sites such as Weibo were abuzz about the incident last week and many users attacked the family saying they had embarrassed their country.

?Disgrace to the Chinese people,? one user wrote.

?Disgrace thrown into the sky,? another shared.

SFGate has reached out to Delta public relations for comment. We will keep you updated on any additional news related to this incident.

To imply this was the General's son would imply the General has had sex...

See where I'm going with this? Not bloody likely

Sad part is not the trash itself but the POS beach goers just laying in it like all is well.

On a separate note, feces is a bio-hazard. Should have detained the parents/guardians for possibly spreading hepatitis, dysentery, pin worms, nematodes, hookworms, meningitis, and E coli to name a few. :puke:

At least in China there's a lone person picking up the trash. In they literally let it pile up and wait for monsoon season to "wash it all away".

Really. I queried officials about it on numerous occasions when I was there. They didn't understand my questioning when I told them they were polluting the world's oceans with their approach to trash management. Yet the press continually reports the United States as the most polluting country on the planet. Goes to show you can't believe what you read.

Sure it was. I laughed and that's all that matters. Enjoy XJT! I bet you don't laugh a lot anymore, and that will probably continue. Oh well....

All seats on DAL smell like this kid was sitting there... And every DAL FA is too lazy to clean it up...

And since DAL leaves the seat belt sign on for the whole flight why wouldn't somebody sh1t in their seat?

How's the Home Depot flight department doing? Still like it? Maybe you should reapply to ASA, although it's now called Expressjet. Looks like you're still disgruntled.

And, on the rare occasion it's turned off, they have to have a PA to announce it. Then, 30 seconds another PA to announce it's back on!

Which is ironic because they ask for headings around every single visible cloud in the sky.

And they make more in one trip than you do in a month. You'd ask for extra vectors too probably if you somehow (very unlikely) ever got hired at any legacy.
