El Chupacabra, you act like you actually want to strike. Let me guess..... You have already used your miles to get tickets to Hawaii the first week in July and you don't want to use any vacation days to get there?

LMAO

Wow, looks like you know the timetable better than we do. Is that the date on the Intranet. I don't know any pilots that WANT to strike. We all have families and responsibilities, like you, and none of us take this lightly. I can assure you we will not be taking our huge savings and running off to Hawaii. Personally, I'll be making a showing at my local airport, encouraging the Teamster line personel to honor our picket line. Mr Big will have to get his bags off the field himself. Then they will have to repo for fuel. Gee I hope they don't park them, too far from the gate.
Enjoy your summer, I'll enjoy mine one way or the other.

No,

I really don't want to strike. No one does. I just can't take the humiliation from folks like G 200 and H2 and my buddy Catyaak etc. anymore.

I guess I could silence them by telling them I make $120K flying a Citation. All I have to do is consider the medical insurance, Perdiem, hotel reimbursements, price we pay for two recurrent trainings at FSI per year etc.

Afterall thats how people are being lead to believe the pilots were offered 6 figures and walked away.

You know...I can care less what the people in the Casino think.....they can't vote so I'm not going to waste my time trying to "win" them over. It serve me no purpose.

If they want to believe the MotherShip and all of the half truths and full blown lies then that's their issue......

The folks up there have means to get the other side of the story. If they choice not to I can't do anything about it.

I'm voting and fighting for my paycheck....We're going to fight as hard as we can to get what we deserve.

I also don't care what the people in the casino think, especially when they aren't the ones that have been negotiating for over 3 1/2 years. I take their digs at our efforts in the same light as the other pilots on this board that make fun of our struggle.

So to all of you folks that work in the brain trust we call the Crystal Palace - Go ahead and attack our efforts to your heart's delight; it doesn't affect me one iota.

PS: I hope that our struggle doesn't affect your salary but it gets harder to worry about you when I read your negative comments on this board.

I really hope that NetJets pilots go on strike. I think a lot of owners that once had their own flight departments will cancel their contracts and start buying airplanes, having learned that cheaper is not always better.

And if that happens, then there will be a lot of replacement jobs for us out of work NJA pilots. Win-win situation in my book. I'll let Santulli make the final decision. I was looking for a job when I found this one. If this turns out to have been a bad decision, maybe my next one will work out better.

With so many qualified pilots in the market, especially down south, if you guys do go on strike, what is to stop these other folks from filling in your spots? Would they be looked at as scabs down the road if they applied for airline jobs? would they care anymore in this day and age of pi$$ poor pay in the regional levels....

I'm sure they would be considered as scabs by everybody, even the airlines. Just because the name of the company isn't Eastern or United doesn't mean that pilots won't react the same to those that crossed the line. I have nothing to do with Netjets, and I can guarantee that I would consider every person crossing the picket line a scab forever. I don't think the pay levels have anything to do with this distinction.

Good morning Mr Owner. I am Capt Jim. I just got my Citation X type rating yesterday. This is great. A few weeks ago the biggest plane I have ever flown before was a Cessna 441. I am not too sure how all these buttons work on the FMS. We're going green needles today.

Easy there on the C-441 jokes Big Fella.

I flew that plane coast to coast by myself, at night (blah blah blah)..... And it was more demanding than ANY jet I've ever flown. It was just more forgiving when you screw up.

I'd take a good 441 or MU-2 driver and have him doing touch and goes at in a X within a month.
