Good list Illini!

Night Autorotations

During an actual Night Autorotation it's important to remember the following procedure:

1. External Lights (Landing, spot, etc...)- ON

2. If you like what you see....Leave the lights- ON

3. IF you don't like what you see...External Lights- OFF

Recited to me by an old Army WO4

Told to me by an old jump pilot:

"Never run out of altitude, airspeed, and experience at the same time."

From ILLINI's post:

>>>>>>>>Just remember, if you crash because of weather, your funeral will be held on a sunny day.
- Layton A. Bennett

Presumably Mr. Bennett would know of which he speaks. He owns a 135 operation in Southeast Alaska which has a well established tradition of it's pilots killing themselves in bad weather. I haven't been to any of the funerals personally, so I can't comment on the weather at them.
