Recommended Watch?

I'm a retiring AF pilot. The questions will be rolling in soon from family and friends asking "What do you want for your retirement??". I think I would like a nice aviation watch...one that would do me well at an airline job, as that's my post-AF goal. What do you guys recommend and why??

I still recommend the Rolex GMT Master II with the Red and Blue Bezel, just as Juan Trippe envisioned it for his Pan Am Captains.

I would recommend a Timex Iron Man, with dual time, LCD and normal dial, if you wear a Rolex on the line it will get all banged and scratched up, nice watch for off duty, functional watch for work.
