Does anyone know how to put a custom avatar under your username? I have tried and tried and all I get are messages saying the picture is too big or not valid, etc. Any advice?

Reducing jpeg to small size for avatar
You can use this site (not related to me) to reduce a picture. You want to use the "reduce to pixel size" at the bottom. For some reason, when i said 150 flightinfo.com rejected the new picture. 140 worked fine.

Just right click the small picture and save it to your hard drive then upload it like others have said.

Avatar size

I sized mine using "Paint." You have to frame it, size it to 140 x 140, save it as a JPEG, remember where you saved it on your hard drive, and upload it when you rework your profile.
