I live under an ATCAA, that is used as an airspace bridge for F-16's heading to a nearby MOA. They can do supersonic flights in the ATCAA. When an ATCAA is assigned to the Air Force for training, are they able to use chaff and flares? They use these in the nearby MOA, so its part of the training, but I'm wondering if we'll get to see it over our house as well. Does the ATCAA become just like any other special use airspace for training?
