American Medflight, a Nevada fixed wing air ambulance company with bases in Reno, Susanville and Ely, is recruiting for Pilots to fly the Piper Cheyenne PA31T out of our Susanville, CA base and to establish an eligibility list for future hiring. Our natural habitat is flying in mountainous terrain, strong crosswinds, turbulence, and sometimes hard IFR weather to rural airports in order to save lives, thanks to our outstanding medical crews. In order to qualify for this position, we require safety minded pilots with an ATP rating, 4000 PIC, 1000 TProp, 100 hrs PA31T and 1000AMEL. Strong single pilot IFR skills are essential. You WILL be shooting non-radar, pilot nav approaches to small airports and need to be extremely proficient. Part 135 and EMS experience highly desirable. American Medflight is an EOE. Relocation to Reno or one of our outstation bases is also required.
