Description:
The first officer will be familiar with and follow the procedures as set forth in the Federal Regulations and the Policies & Procedures ManualHe/she shall follow the instructions of the PIC and discharge his/her duties accordingly.He/she will, through continuous study, prepare himself/herself for upgrading to Captain. IN the absence of a Flight Engineer, he/she will assume his/her duties on the ground and whatever in-flight duties that are consistent with safety. Should the PIC become incapacitated in flight, he/she will assume command and land at the nearest suitable airport. He/she will assume responsibility for the aircraft and crew until relieved by the Chief Pilot. Revision of all assigned aeronautical publications. Aircraft cleaning & supply requisition. Ground transportation of passengers.
