Question for you guys, firstly I kinda feel like a big schmoo for asking stuff like this not even being on property yet, buuuut in the sake of long range planning... I have a friend at SWA who has said that a first year guy who picks up a couple of extra trips a month can make about 56,000 the first year, and that a second year guy can do about 80,000 by working on a few days off? Does this sound like a overestimation to you? Sounds like alot of money to me and that is why I am asking..

Also, what do you guys average for Perdiem checks?

Thanks for any insight guys!

More 2nd hand info

A friend of mine told me his tax info had his SWA income at around 75K with 4 months of 1st year pay and 8 months of 2nd year pay. That was with his flying a little extra every month. Again, 2nd hand but somewhat useful.
