The Miami Air Chief Pilot spoke at the job fair in FLL Friday. Interviews in April for a class of 4 in May. They are doing TDYs this summer to Amsterdam or somewhere in Europe.

He was apologetic about pay and such and said commuting really doesn't work out so you need to live in South Florida and basically said Miami Air is just a SWA training academy and like a lot of places FO attrition is high and Captains never leave.

Very unlikely. Nothing has been announced to the company yet.

Probably, I was just relaying what was said at the job fair. I think he was saying the Europe thing to make the job more attractive but the room was full of 121 regional guys who freak out over anything longer than a 4 day trip.

Thanks to all for your help. Was hired for May class. Looking forward to being there. Best of luck to all still looking to interview. Happy to help anyone wanting intel on the interview process.
