If you're an FFDO, you know. If you're not, you don't need to know.
 
No Special procedures...just make sure to declare it.

Just make sure it's at the bottom of your overnight bag. Ammo separate of course, I usually keep mine in the cooler.
 
This is the most useful thread I've come across in years.
 
In Canada you're weapon is kept in a lock box by the CBSA staff and is given back when the pilot on his return flight - does Mexico have the same procedure - just asking?
