Saw this remark today in a METAR I got off of DUAT's.

METAR KBFI 281953Z 33008KT 10SM SCT025 BKN035 BKN050 08/01 A3040 RMK
AO2 SLP292 MOD CU ALQDS T00780006

What does the MOD CU ALQDS mean in this?

Thanks.

It means: moderate cumulus all quadrants

It means cumulus clouds somewhere between the harmless puffy variety and the towering cumulus variety.
