Medical and age waiver process ?'s

Can anybody enlighten me on just how medical and age waivers are processed and what the time frame roughly is. I'm waiting on a medical waiver, that I'm pretty sure I'll get, and am worried if it takes too long I may have to also try for an age waiver! I hate to give up now on trying to get into the AF but the way things work out sometimes is amazing. If anyone has any good info or experience or knows someone who does or knows a solid recruiter I could talk with (mine doesn't have much experience so she's sort of checked out on me for now) that would be very appreciated. Thanks.
