MDT to be Piedmont ER-145 maintenance base.

MDT was listed as the maintenance base for the ER-145's arriving at the end of the year. Wonder where ROA and SBY stand with this decision?

145's aren't allowed to execute a missed approach when landing in ROA, so it's better they are maintained elsewhere.

I recall the 'all AfroAmer' crew at ASA, the two pilots (one I know was WMU), sponsored by DAL) got hired at The Deltah, FO had to go back to ASA for more 'seasoning'. Yeah baby affirmative action!

That entire group of minority fast trackers were sent back to WMU by ASA because none of them could pass CRJ training and all needed more experience. I know of at least 3 that are now at Delta thanks to that fast tracking while many much better pilots are left to wallow at Endeavor after getting "Arnied"
