If you fly multiple CJ's (i.e. CJ1 and CJ3). Do you have to maintain landing currency in both (reference FAR 61.57). It says if a type is required then you have to be current in type. My brain says that since they are a like type then one satisfies the other. Thoughts?

I am not CJ rated, so I can't speak with authority on the specific type, but the meaning of 61.57 and 'type' is if it is 'typed' on your certificate, ie., requires a 'type' rating, then you need 3 T.O.'s & landings in each 'type' that is 'typed' on your pilot certificate.

those both fall under the CE-525 type rating, so you'd only have to get your 3 bounces in one of them.
