Anyone else notice rh didn’t give a shred of information in his update? How many new hires are already online? How many are currently in training? And jw was at Flexjet less than six months, not “just a few years”.

And did you notice he called it "the options CBA", even though it covers all pilots now?

the company really has no intention of ever honoring this contract... <sigh>.
 
Aside from all the typos that makes it read as though it was written by someone who couldn’t pass high school English, he’s doing nothing but dividing the two pilot groups more. As VP of Red Label he represents all OneSky pilots, not just original Flexjet pilots. He still seems determined on shutting the other side out.

I think the company knows all too well as to the reason for the fatigue calls. They are constantly pushing the max duty day and then giving min rest. A few days of that and you get fatigued. It is no secret and should come as no surprise you can only push so far until things stop.
 
The truth slipped out. Another "experienced" dispatcher came up with a solution to cover a trip. He then got over ridden by a supervisor. He asked why his solution wasn't good. The answer was "It comes from the top." He got up and walked out. 2N is a micro-manager.
 
Want more money? switch to a schedule you don't want. Another scheduler was switched to the night shift and apparently didn't want it because he never showed up. A pilot called in to have a manifest changed. They couldn't do that either. No one was there that had operational control. Flight plans now only can get filed between 0600 and 2300. Two people left the International Dept. Logistics now are only part-time. Doesn't sound like this is the way to run a company 2N wants to be the industry leader.

I heard a rumor today that if true is a brilliant way to institute the MCBA on a personal level.

15 year Flexjet veteran was paired with a transfer. On the final day the transfer was sent home while the Flexjetter had a full day plus travel that pushed him to 16 plus.

When he questioned what was going on it seems a few rotations ago the transfer call fatigued 10 hours in on the last day and reported fit for duty at 0500 the next day. The company had to arrange for hotel, supplemental lift, transportation, increased travel costs from remote airport and pilot still got home before noon (versus 11:30 PM) fully rested for his day off with an extra day of pay to boot.

Nutshell is it cost the company so much money and aggravation, the transfer pilot is on a list regarding go home day rules to make sure he gets taken care of to minimize the chances of a mid day monkey wrench.

Wow. Imagine what would happen of we all just started being professional instead of pushing through tired, sick or hungry just because it's our first or last day. Or any day. Do you think they'd finally get the message we aren't robots?

I'm not "suggesting" this be a routine or contrived action nor is there any evidence it was calculated on the part of the transfer pilot. However it is telling he received the professional respect his Captain did not simply because he made his desire to act professionally well known.

More things to make you go hmmmmm...
