This position must be filled as soon as possible!!! Interviews to start this next week! Sky King , is a expanding company with a very bright future! We currently operate 10 Boeing 737’s.



Duties:

  • Responsible for coordinating all facets of operations, including flight status (potential delays, reroutes, and/or cancellations), crew assignments/scheduling, catering, station and ground handling, and customs.
  • Must be proficient at providing operational support to flight crews, including flight planning, weather, fuel, maintenance considerations, and airport information.
  • Ensure that all flight operations are conducted in compliance with applicable FARS and company procedures. Coordinate flow of operational information to all concerned personnel and stations.
Requirements:
  • FAA Dispatcher license required.
  • Must be proficient in understanding FAR parts 91 and 135/121. as they apply to operational control of aircraft and flight crews (i.e flight and duty time requirements)
  • International and Domestic flight planning experience a plus.
  • Computer skills including MS Excel, Word.
  • Able to work flexible shifts, days including weekends and holidays required.
  • Salary based on experience.

And maybe some frequent "traveler" bennies on the hookers on what is that, Washington St, out in front of the YV HDQ?

While not aircraft dispatch specific, there are regular postings for Airport Operations personnel that closely align with the knowledge, skills(z), and abilities usually possessed by aircraft dispatchers.


Just a thought for the job hunters out there. This information has been posted before, but it is worth reminding folk of the possibilities.
