Here's a job posting for the Middle East. Kind of makes you wonder why they want a instructor for a crop sprayer, huh. Good money anyway.

COMMENTS:



Our Client, a well established air carrier operating in the Middle East requires for immediate employment one Air Tractor AT-802 pilot-instructor.

Candidates must:
- hold a valid FAA commercial license (preference will be given to ATP licensed candidates);
- hold a valid FAA CFI rating and have recent instructional experience training on turbine powered AG aircraft and training for aerial application work;
- have at least 3,500 hours total time mostly in aerial application;
- have at least 1,000 hours on turbine powered Air Tractor;
- have currency on the aircraft (having flown it within the last 12 months).

Our client offers a benefit package including:
- a two year contract optionally convertible to permanent employment at client discretion;
- a salary of 78,000 US $ per year;
- a living allowance of 20 US $ a day while in country;
- a furnished apartment in company compound.

All contract personnel can be paid through financial channels of their choice. United States residents can qualify for an annual 75,000 $US tax exemption under the Foreign Income Tax Exclusion provisions.

The AT-802 has a second seat for an observer or instructor, and is the only ag airplane built for which a full sim and type training course is available (and in some cases, required).

Some jobs are best responded to without asking many questions.
