Anyone have the new actual payrates?

And how will JetBlue physically stop a pilot from leaving? How will they enforce a two year rule? Unless they have an agreement with the management/HR at every single Part 121 legacy/major, then that is unrealistic.

Non-competes are prevalent across industries. You are free to leave, however, if you sign a non-compete restricting you from working at a particular competitor and you quit and go to work there, you are in violation of the legal agreement and can be sued up the wazoo.

How is this any different than a training contract? I know several guys who walked away under their 2 year training contract, they got threats from the company but in the end nothing happened. What lawyer wants to take a case of a 1.5 year FO at JetBlue walking away to AA or UAL.

Do you know for a fact nothing happened? I know of one that has a lien that appears on their credit rating. And that is out of a pool of one that I asked.

I read the non compete to mean ANYONE that has applied/hired. I don't agree with it. I think it will severely hurt our quality and # of applicants. If I were still at ASA, I would NOT apply to JB with that language.

Excellent ? regarding guys who were recently hired.

13 3.5 3.5 Isn't good enough with the loss or premium pay.

How do you mean? It specifically references being rehired by the last 121 carrier, it's parent, or subsidiary.

So, for example, if the pilot comes from American Eagle, spends six months at JetBlue, and leaves to go to Delta he should not be bound by the noncompete clause. Correct?

After over 11 years here, I just take it for granted that they are going to screw me.
And until JB no-voters get a clue, they will...
