Maybe a honey farm is next.
Save the bees :) (we really should save the bees)

The funny part is I asked about 10 family members and friends what they thought about this "farm" and they all freaking loved it.

Who knows, just give me a good CBA

The ab-initios will start as dirt-farmers, and work their way up the ladder until they reach esteemed pilot status...

Does an airline really need to "...raise awareness of farming..." ?

"Jared Simon, senior director of marketing for the company, says right now they are growing Adirondack blue potatoes at JFK to raise awareness of farming.

'Most people have probably not been to a potato farm,' Simon said. 'It's really about the education. There's such a desire from consumers to connect what they are eating with where it is from.' "

Hmm... So people want to know they're eating potatoes that were grown at JFK!? I think I'd rather not know that.

Perhaps that's because Payne choses not to be completely pessimistic about everything.

...a good perspective, actually.

If a blue potato farm helps our bottom line and makes us a successful airline, all the better. I'm all about negotiating from a position of strength.
