My guess is no. The management has said all along that establishing a west base base is extremely expensive and doesn't make sense unless we have a significant number (read: in excess of 27 departures a day) of aircraft operating out of there.
The problem is economics. To establish a base, you not only have to schedule pilots and inflight crew separately, but you have to hire and train schedulers, administrative support, additional management, maintenance technician support, purchase office space for all, computers, maintenance support equipment, additional airport storage space, etc. Obviously, there is much to the process that I am not familiar with, but the task--and cost-- is not inconsequential.
I'm sure it will happen if it makes sense, but it's going to take a bit of time. IMHO, of course.
