Air warriors site is down, related to our loss yesterday I'm sure, God bless them all.

My question is concerning using the Ipad 2 to communicate with our son while he is deployed. Anyone have any experience?

Way late to the game, but what specifically are you looking to find out about? What type of deployment is he going to be on? iPad in an otter box type case is way easier to tote around then a laptop. As long as he has wifi available he'll be able to use it to skype/face time where ever he goes provided they have wireless available. Not sure if you can get 3g to work in the rest of the world. As long as I don't need to write a paper, my iPad is my go to device for everything... porn looks better on a laptop though.

install skype on your and his device and then via internet service you can communicate
