I'm going up to HPA April 11-24 for my type (got a -300 slot).

Seems like all the HPA "prefered hotels" -- AmeriSuites, Lexington Hotel Suites, and Country Inn & Suites -- all cost $40/ night + tax ($45.20/night).

Any gouge on which one is best? Location, room quality, noise, perks, etc?

Thanks,
Alex

Amerisuites seemed to be the closest. I walked to HPA several times. They have a decent free breakfast as well. Really don't know anything about the other two since I didn't stay there other than the Country Inn and Suites is across the highway and would be another five minute walk.

The Airport Holiday Inn West also has a $40 HPA rate. It's about a 15-min drive (about midway between HPA and the sim center). Its only advantages would be free hot breakfast (vs "cold" at the Amerisuites) and the fact that it's a lot closer to the simulators. The rooms are a little nicer at the Amerisuites, but the Holiday Inn has a bar :)
