So, I made the decision in the last couple of months to transition. Not from MIL to 121, but from 121 (not furloughed) to MIL. I have been sending out resumes to guard units. I get replies that show interest, but the big question keeps getting asked, "How old are you?" Just turned 30 this year. That generally ends the conversation.

What do I have to do to get an age waiver? I've talked to a couple of my peers at work, and they say it is possible. Any suggestions? I want to do this. Going to take the AFOQT soon.
