I use the new Bose headset. I fly some noisy aircraft around Forest Fires and they work great. They do eat 9 volt batteries about every 6 hours of use. So carry extras.

Try www.anr-headsets.com for a cheaper alternative. If you already own a pair of DC's or anything else for that matter, these are an aftermarket upgrade. They cost 179, and 20 more bucks for the company to install them (if you cant solder and read a wiring diagram), and another 40 for the integrated cord (which I recommend....one can only go for so long trying to untangle 2 cords). I have these in my DC's, and they as good if not better than the $600 DC's, and they fared pretty well against the Bose too! The Bose were lighter and more comfortable....that was the only difference. They work great in any plane, and its alot cheaper!!!!
