Heard from a friend of a friend of a ... (you get the point), that some foreigners with FAA licenses are being sponsored for work visas. Truth or bs?

I haven't seen any regional or freight feeder admit to or advertise that...but scuttlebutt occasionally surfaces.

There's that special visa for Aussies but I'm not aware that any company is formally assisting people with that. Perhaps some individuals have availed themselves of that route ?

It seems there's a big difference between an individual acting solo and a company getting behind the use of a visa and assisting people with the process.

If regional headhunting is as tough for the companies as rumored, I'm surprised some company hasn't gone that route.

hold on to your seat

if this is true indeed......I can see the regionals renamed Indian Airways...********************-tone of Indians will jump on this wagon and probably offer to pay if given the opportunity.....god help us! (make america great again?) probably not!
