Hey folks

I was wondering how can a Canadian pilot get a job in the US? I have 2200 TT, 1900 Multi with type rating in several aircrafts. How can I apply for a green card or should I just show up into a bar and mary the first drunk girl I see? ;)

I think you may want to start bar hopping.

I have no expertise on the matter however I have a good freind who was educated in this country obtained all of her certificates in this country and was even hired and flew for a regional here only to have to leave it because she has been unable to obtain the necessary work permits. It appears to be a very difficult process.

Oh one last ploy. Go to Cuba and then float here and you will be granted immediate asylum. It has worked for thousands. Good luck.
