Maybe some of these foreign airlines should get there pilots in the sim and practice straight up visual approaches with no automation,get back to the basics of flying. I have instructed many foreign flight students in the past and most,not all, but most lacked basic eye hand coordination while flying the aircraft. However, they were very book smart. They could tell you how many rivets held the plane together and viscous makeup of the hydraulic fluid,but could not basically fly the airplane.
