I suppose that makes a few people unhappy ? Can they move to FW after a tour in RW ?

Does the USAF do much RW ? Not 50% like the USN, I assume ?
Unhappy is not a word that applies, disappointed maybe, but it is a lesson in life that not everyone gets a trophy and you move on. Funny thing is even guys who didn't want helos, really fall in love with them and say it was the best flying they ever did.

Yes many do transition to FW, they get a tour as a fixed wing IP after their first RW tour and put in for a fixed wing job.

I would think USAF is less than 10% helo drivers, and I think they train with the Army.

Yip,

Thanks. Didn't know any of that stuff.

Looks like Envoy has lots of raw material to work with.
