I have heard that Emirates puts you through a pretty intensive medical eval. after the interview. Can anyone shed some light as to what they make you do? (i.e: blood pressure, EKG/ECG or an EEG exam, hearing etc etc...) And how does it compare to a US medical eval.
Any info will help.

Medical

I did it in July and I did.

EKG
Drug Test
Chest X-ray
Blood Test
Hearing Test
Eye Exam
Turn your head and cough (hated that part)

Eyes have to be better than -5 Diopters uncorrected. LASIK is accepted but must have been longer than 12 months since surgery.

If that lasik has been five or more years ago would they ever know if you did not tell them.

Depends on how you healed, usually the doctor can tell that you had Lasik unless your eye healed perfectly. Doesn't matter though, if you had it 5 years ago, its allowed.
