Captain Pay range for E190:

Air Canada 140-160
Jetblue 130-150
Republic 60-120
USAir 100-115

Nice rate for the Air Canada folks.

Hard to take that Republic rate.

And Republic actually wants to knock that rate down further on their last offer. Doesn't matter anyways. The 190s are all but gone. I think we have 5 left.

Just in time for the C-Series to start arriving at Republic in the next 1-2 years...

Nope. Those are scoped out. There isn't a damn place BB can legally fly those if they ever materialize. I don't think he would be dumb enough to try any sort of branded operation considering how RAH royally screwed up the whole Frontier/Midwest debacle.

What about the order for 25 190's that magically went away. Get the pilot group to sign a lower rate then get the new order. It's the WWBBD way.

Air Canada.. Ya except check cost of living and tax rates in Canada... Plus exchange rates... Thats more like 70-90 a hour down here...

True, but it's not as bad as you make it sound like 70-90 a hour here. It's still better at Air Canada. Canadian cost of living is comparable to cities in the USA. And yes Canada has higher taxes because, gasp, they actually have a way to fund their national healthcare system, unlike here with people yelling for free healthcare but ready to bring out the pitchforks if taxes go up.

Exchange rate? Are you kidding? Not anymore. It's almost 1 - 1 these days. 1.00 USD = 1.04 CAD

Who would he fly them for? 190s are also illegal for him to operate for anyone other than that charter stuff. Even then, the charter stuff disappears in another 14 months or so.

Those orders will be sold, who would they fly them for? Nooooobody

Republic with the C-series, Skywest and TSA with the MRJ. There is no way these companies would place massive orders for aircraft without some reassurance from a mainline partner that these aircraft will be flown. Who knows who will contract them. Alaska? Jetblue? Spirit? Frontier? A legacy?

Mark my words, they will fly.
