Nose gar collapsed on landing. A couple of injuries in evacuation. CNN only satyed with story for an hour or so. No word on crew names.

I think the nose gear collapsed.

Some sources are pointing at a nose-first hard landing. Could this be two back to back bad landings? This could have been much worse much like Asiana.

Pilot names just released:

Captain: R. Edneck
First Officer: White T. Rash

See Asiana..we can poke fun at ourselves too; so lighten the f*ck up!!

Sounds like they forgot to put the gear down, until the last minute, and the nose gear didn't have enough time to lock down.

When you're in a big hurry that kind of stuff happens!

Huh??? You show on your profile you have flown B737, therefore you know that any flap setting more that 10 has a horn screaming at you until get the gear down. I HIGHLY doubt they forgot the gear and put it out last minute. What's the other pilot sitting there doing?...giving the 100 ft call over the screaming horn?

Lots of data comes from the boxes on the -700's. They will know shortly what happened.

Cheers!

If that were the case it would have collapsed forward, this one failed aft and up into the E/E bay....as mentioned, an uncancellable horn would have been going off, GPWS yelling...kinda hard to miss...
